This was a life time experience for us because in the first 30 days of our married life we slept in 14 different places, 14 different beds. With no doubt we should be in the Guinness book of records but we don’t recommend to any newly weds to try and break our record. On moments it was lots of fun but also hard, we went up and down, being happy and sad, smiling and crying, being thankful to being desperate...But in the mid’s of all of that God was teaching us that only secure resting place can be found in Him and Him only, teaching us how to be thankful with what we have, teaching us to rejoice and give Him glory no matter what. Thought #1: It reminded me of the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:20 "Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." That is still so true today.
