One Month Married Life!!!

Few days ago with Mirjami we celebrated our one month anniversary. It has been amazing and busy month and in this email we would like to share with you what has been happening and what is ahead of us.
So one month ago we were preoccupied with final preparation for our wedding day. After doing everything that we could with big and small details we decided to enjoy our day and not allow small things to bug us. We ended up having a beautiful wedding. Beautiful, bright sunny day, friends and family, amazing church ceremony, simple and fun wedding reception and celebration.
Here is a link to some of our wedding pictures:

Unfortunately we didn’t had a chance to go on a honeymoon but instead our last week in Kemi, Finland was filled with final goodbyes, organizing Macedonian night on which we shared more about Macedonia and our ministry there and on the end two Sunday services.

We were able to spend 5 days in Helsinki at Mirjami’s relatives before we departed for Budapest. In Budapest we spent 2 days and we were able to see friends from YWAM who were not able to come to our wedding.

We had long and tiring van/bus ride from Budapest to Macedonia but we were both excited to finally arrive in Macedonia, and to start decorating our new home, house apartment for which we gave down payment beginning of May. To our surprise we found the apartment in same condition as we first saw it back in May. We discovered that the owner didn’t just repaint the apartment even though he said he would but also after one day of rest we start discovering that some of the kitchen appliances were not working as it should and other appliances issues in the bathroom. I had a talk with the owner but he didn’t want to meet us half way and do his part of the deal so after just 5 days we decided to move out with no money being reimbursed.

We went for two days to my hometown and September 3rd we went to France attending a friends wedding. For both of us this one week trip came in at the right time because it gave us a chance to relax and not think about issues back in Macedonia even though we both were getting pretty tired with traveling, living in suitcases and sleeping in different beds and places.

Since September 10th we are back in Skopje Macedonia. For now we are staying at the Church that we are part of.
We are looking for a new apartment and have a potential place that we need to check next Wednesday.
We also have a lots of legal paper work that we need to do; all of Mirjami’s documents including our marriage certificate need to be translated to Macedonian and notarized. We need to legalize our marriage before the Macedonian laws. Mirjami needs to apply for new passport with her new last name. And once those things are done we will apply all of our documents for Mirjami’s residence permit.
We would appreciate your prayers that the whole process of submitting the documents for getting residence permit will go without problems because without the residence permit Mirjami would be able to stay in Macedonia only for 3 months which will mean that we need to move out.

We are slowly getting involved with our ministry time here. We already lead one of the House of Prayer worship/prayer nights and this coming Friday we will lead it again. We are trying to schedule our time wisely between getting legal things done and ministry but sometimes it’s so hard when you don’t have a home where you can just rest and relax.

Please be praying that we would find a place to live by the end of next week.

The Passion & Compassion of God the Father

Passion:                                God the Father is passionate God, passionate Father. First: God the Father is passionate towards His son Jesus Christ. In both Matthew 3:17 during Jesus baptism and Matthew 17:5 the mount of transfiguration we hear the voice of the Father saying about Jesus: This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. With other words the Father is saying: this is the one whom I love the most, He is the most excellent, He is above any other, He is the most cherished one, He is the one to be listen to and one to be worshiped. The Father exalts the Son to the highest place of honor because He loves Him with a strong, passionate love and He has given all things into His hand! Second: God the Father is passionate towards you and me!  In His high priestly prayer in John 17 Jesus while talking to the Father says that He (the Father) loved them (the disciples, or us) even as You (the Father) ha

Two Years House of Prayer - Macedonia

It has been two years since we started the House of Prayer ministry in Macedonia and almost two years I've been living in Skopje.  Is funny to think that one simple sentence kind of started the whole ministry. After I returned from IMI internship in Amsterdam I had a meeting with few leaders from Skopje who wanted to start a House of Prayer and they asked me how to start one. I was a wrong person to be asked that question but in that moment I just said: you just start, no matter where, no matter how many people there is, no matter what you have or don't have, you just start small, just one meeting in the week, just two hours, just worshipping God and waiting on Him.  Oops :) these leaders took me very seriously and the very next week we had our first Friday night time of worship and prayer, waiting on God.  At that time I still had other plans, to go and serve God in Montenegro working with the local church there but one morning I woke up with a thought on my mind; why not Mace

The Passion & Compassion of God the Son

Passion:     Jesus lived for the pleasure of the Father. He lived to please the Father in everything He did. He said that He came to do the will of the one who sent Him and out of love for the Father, Jesus does what the Father has commanded Him. Delighting in the embrace of the Father was all that He longed for. The Bible tells us that early in the morning and late at night He would be alone with the Father. The heart of Jesus was passionately in-loved with the Father and He was abiding in the Father's love. Jesus revealed His passion for the Father at age 12 saying that He had to be in His father's house Luke 2:49.      In John 17 Jesus reveals his passion when He prays for the disciples: Father I desire for them to be with me and see my glory...that you have given me because you loved me.... The passion of Jesus is the glory of God the Father, His presence, being with Him, beholding Him face to face....this was the ultimate passion of Jesus!     And this same passion t
